Rodney Bias has been involved with the healthcare industry for the past nine plus years specializing in regulatory compliance and security for wholesale pharmaceutical distribution. Rodney is currently the Vice President, Regulatory Compliance for CLS, an Inmar Company.

Rodney’s department is responsible for providing guidance to all CLS facilities pertaining to federal, state and local regulatory compliance. His department is responsible for DEA, EPA, FDA, USDA and State Regulatory Compliance Programs (i.e., Department of Health, Board of Pharmacy, and state and local agricultural agencies).

In addition to holding the American Society for Industrial Security’s (ASIS) Certified Protection Professional credential, he is a member of the ASIS Pharmaceutical Security Council, has served as an authorized OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer, and participated as a member on several Healthcare Distribution Management Association committees, and HIDA’s Pedigree Task Force.

Prior to his involvement in the healthcare industry, Rodney was a police officer for seven years spending the last years of his policing career as a Business Crimes Unit Investigator for the Lexington, Kentucky Police Department. Rodney earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and his Master’s Degree in Loss Prevention and Safety from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
